Yvon A. ''Piton'' Côté

At Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home of Saint-Leonard, December 22, 2024, Mr. Yvon A. ''Piton'' Côté passed away at the age of 85 years. He was the widower of Jeanne d'Arc St-Amand and had resided in Saint-André and Drummond. Born at Drummond in 1939, he was a son of the late Adelard and Albertine (Leclerc) Côté.

Piton was a business man, having operated his own Auto Body Repair Shop and later worked at Violette Ford in the same line of work. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd Degree of Council 7222 and 4th Degree of the 1907 Assembly of Saint-André.

He is survived by his daughter, Collette Côté MacDonald (Allister G.) of Antigonish, NS, five grandchildren, Morgan MacDonald, Connor MacDonald, Jean-Luc Côté, Emma MacDonald and Marcus MacDonald, one brother, Rev. Renaud Côté, c.j.m., of Charlesbourg, QC, sister-in-law, Bessie Côté of Grand Falls and brothers-in-law, Guy Michaud of Grand Falls and John Beidl of Raleigh, NC, as well as nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his siblings, Camille, Noël, Lucien, Laurette, Maurice, Guildor, Claudette, Gilbert, Gérard, Florine and Fernande ''Bébé''.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Monday, January 6th, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.

His funeral service will be held Monday, January 6th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Saint-André Roman Catholic Church with interment in the St-Georges Parish Cemetery in Grand Falls.
