Colette Laplante
1945-2025
At her residence, January 1, 2025, Miss Colette Laplante of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 79 years. Born at Saint-André in 1945, she was a daughter of the late Emile and Béatrice (Lajoie) Laplante.
Colette was a retired teacher and a member of the ''Société des enseignantes et enseignants retraités francophones du Nouveau-Brunswick, Cercle John-Vallillee''.
She is survived by two sisters, Aline Laplante of Grand Falls and Jeannine Theriault (Robert) of Fredericton, three brothers, Gérard (Shirley) of Sudbury, Ontario, Alyre (Colette) of Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan and Edmond of Edmonton, Alberta, sister-in-law, Gaëtane (late Hermel) of Long Island, New York, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Guy, Réginald and Hermel, as well as four siblings as young children or infants, Fernand, Fernande, Albert and Anne.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Friday, January 10th from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 11th from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday, January 11th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the St-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the parish cemetery.
