Jean-Yves Proulx

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, January 6, 2025, Mr. Jean-Yves Proulx of Drummond passed away at the age of 73 years. Born at Grand Falls in 1951, he was a son of the late Elise (Martel) and the late Jean-Paul Proulx Sr.

Prior to his retirement, Jean-Yves had a long career with CN Rail.

He is survived by four sisters, Francine Proulx (Gilles Dupuis) of Ville de Lac Brome, Fulford, Quebec, Suzanne Proulx and Nicole Proulx Dallaire (Gabriel) of Kingston, Ontario, Andrée Beckwith (Barry) of Halifax, NS and one brother, Jean-Paul Proulx Jr. (Paryse) of Grand Falls, brother-in-law, Yves Ouellette (late Lise) of Trois-Rivières, Quebec, nieces and nephews, Julie, Josée, Marco, Mylène, Brad, Scott, Rico and Karyne. He was predeceased by a sister, Lise Ouellette.

In accordance with Jean-Yves' wishes, there will not be any funeral services held.

For those who wish, donations to the Children's Wish Foundation or a charity of your choice benefitting children would be appreciated by the family.
