Géralda Cyr

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, on May 9, 2025, Mrs. Geralda (Deda) Cyr passed away at the age of 83 years. She was the widow of Réal Cyr of Saint Leonard Parent.   Born at Sainte-Anne in 1942, she was the daughter of the late Levite and Clara (Levesque) Michaud. 

She is survived by her children: Jeanne Michaud (Tony) of Fredericton, Linda Cyr-Pelletier (Fred) of Saint Leonard Parent, Denise Cyr (Ivan Lagace) of Saint André, Jason Cyr of Quispamsis, Cindy Hogan (Ashley) of Fredericton and bonus son Jean Cote (Monique LeBlanc) of Fredericton;  eleven grandchildren: Bobby Michaud, Meagan Michaud, Danika Cyr, Shane Pelletier, Darcy George, Savanna Cyr, Coby Gagnon, Ivan Lagace, Austin Lagace, Joshua Cyr and Jordan Cyr; twelve great-grandchildren and one brother Marcel Michaud (Pat Hurley) of London, Ontario.

She was predeceased by her sons: Bob and Rock, grandson: Courtney, brothers: Hermel, Odilon, Francis (Frank) and sisters: Jeanne St-Pierre, Diane Bellefleur, Gisele Tardif, Gilberte (Bette) Kelley, Therese Sirois, Rinette (Nenette) Gervais.

Resting at O'Regan's Chapel, 83 St-Antoine Street, Saint-Leonard  with visiting hours on Wednesday, May 21st from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m.

Her funeral service will be held Wednesday May 21st at 4:00 p.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church with interment in the St-Antoine-de-Padoue Cemetery in St-Leonard-Parent.
