Gilles Ouellette

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, May 17, 2026, Mr. Gilles Ouellette of Saint-André passed away at the age of 61 years. He was the husband of Gisèle (Levesque) Ouellette. Born at Grand Falls in 1965, he was a son of the late Marcellin "Zou" and Margot (Richard) Ouellette.

Gilles is survived by his wife Gisèle, two children, Jessica Daudelin (Danny) of Grand Falls and Kevin Ouellette (Valérie Michaud) of Drummond, grandchildren, Emmy and Wyatt Daudelin and a Ouellette grandchild on the way, sisters and brothers, Lise St-Amand (Ronald) of Saint-André, Carol Ouellette of Grand Falls, Charline Ouellette (Denis Lemoignan) of Edmundston, Marcel Ouellette (Noelyne Côté) of Saint-André and George Ouellette (Patricia Sullivan) of Nova Scotia, brother-in-law, Jacques ''Butch'' Bourgoin (late Diane) of Middle River, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is also survived by his in-laws, Bertrand and Patsy Levesque of Marathon, ON, their children, Brenda Brown of Marathon, ON, Bert Jr. Levesque (Mireille) and Danny Levesque (Terri) of Thunder Bay, ON and Jo-Anne Levesque of Marathon, ON, as well as Patsy and Bert's grandchildren. 

He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Diane Bourgoin and infant sister Jeanne as well as nephew Marc Levesque.

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Tuesday May 26th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

His funeral service will be held Tuesday May 26th at 11:00 a.m. from the Saint-André Roman Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery.
