Hubert ''Bert'' Levesque

At the Grand Falls General Hospital, May 19, 2026, Mr. Hubert ''Bert'' Levesque of Grand Falls passed away at the age of 87 years. He was first married to Patricia Ouellette, with whom he shared three children: Suzanne, Michel and Marco.  He later found love again and spent 25 beautiful years married to Oliva Theriault. Born at Grand Falls in 1938, he was a son of the late George and Elise (Albert) Levesque.

Prior to his retirement, Bert was an inspector for the provincial Department of Public Safety. He was an active member of the Golden Age Club, a dedicated volunteer with Assumption Parish, and a former member of the UCT, Grand Falls Council 854. 

He is survived by his very dear friend, Albina Cyr, three children, Suzanne Theriault (Paul) of Grand Falls, Michel Levesque (France) of Dieppe and Marco Levesque (Stéphanie) of Grand Falls, five grandchildren, Josée (Luc Ti-Bee Theriault), Denys Levesque, Stéfanie Levesque (Mathieu Plourde), Janie Pelletier (Jacob) and Yanic Levesque (Allyson), two great grandchildren, Kaleb Theriault and Sofia Plourde, three sisters, Jeannine Raymond (late Donald) of Connecticut, Alvine Pelletier (late Guildard) and Velva Levesque (late Ernie) of Grand Falls, as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Elza Aubin (late Ronald), three brothers, Aurèle (late Velma), Ivan (late Madeleine) and John (late Leona).

Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Monday, May 25th from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m.

His funeral service will be held Monday, May 25th at 11:00 a.m. from the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Grand Falls with interment in the parish cemetery.
