Donald St-Amand
1966-2026
At his residence, June 1, 2026, Mr. Donald St-Amand of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 59 years. Born in Grand Falls in 1966, he was a son of the late Antoine and Rita (Poitras) St-Amand.
Donald was a 3rd-Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Saint-Leonard Council 2743.
He is survived by his sisters and brothers, Antoinette (late Ben Beaulieu) of Saint-Basile, Carmel (Françoise), Anne-Marie (Philip Paradis) and Jacqueline of Saint-Leonard, Fidèle (Gisèle) of Beresford, Louis (Mona) of Baie-Sainte-Anne, Gisèle (Raymond Lafontaine) of Ottawa, Nicole (Ronald Ouellette) of Grand Falls, sister-in-law, Françoise Thivierge of Gatineau, Quebec, as well as nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Antoine and Rita, two brothers, Jean-Marie and Jacques, one sister, Monique and one niece, Kristy Paradis.
His funeral service will be held from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church on Wednesday August 5, 2026 at 3:00 pm.
Donald's family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Daniel Roy, the staff of Extra-Mural, Ginette St-Pierre of Home Care Services for the excellent care given to Donald and also to the T.E.S.C. Workshop for persons with Special Needs in Saint-Leonard.
