Alma Marie Rivard
1927-2026
At Foyer Chez Cindy, Mrs. Alma Marie Rivard of Grand Falls NB, passed away peacefully on June 5th, 2026. She was 99 years old. She was the widow of Roland Rivard. Born in St. André in 1927, she was a daughter of the late Fred T. Côté and the late Lucie Rossignol.
She is survived by her son Albert Rivard (Joanne Drummond) of Dieppe, one brother, Roland Côté, granddaughter Loreen Brown (Cornelius), great-granddaughter MacKenzie Brown, daughter-in-law Pauline Ouellette. Sisters-in-law Adelia Cote and Regina Cote as well several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sons Guy and Rino, three sisters, Annette Deschenes, Albertine Côté and Lucille Michaud, seven brothers, René, Rino, Euzebe, Claude, Joseph, Nelson and Bertin Cote.
Mrs. Rivard was known in the community from 1958-2015 as the Avon Lady.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Tuesday June 9th from 7 to 9 p.m and Wednesday from 9:30 to funeral time.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 10th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Georges Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls with interment in the parish cemetery.
