Beth Nissen

At the Tobique Valley Manor in Plaster Rock, July 10, 2026, Mrs. Elizabeth Faye Nissen of New Denmark passed away at the age of 76 years. She was the wife of Gavin Nissen. Born at Grand Falls in 1949, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Faye (Walker) Johansen.

Beth is survived by her husband Gavin, three children, Todd (Chantal), Kent (Renée) and Heidi, seven grandchildren, Kendra (Eric Laforest), Colby (Camille), Erica (Phil), Mindy (Dominic), Christopher, Joshua and Lena, four great grandchildren, a sister Karen (Wayne McKay) and a brother Hugh (Debbie), as well as nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Faye.

Resting at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in New Denmark with visiting on Thursday, July 16th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Peter's Lutheran Church with Pastor Jonah Bruce officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery with a luncheon to follow.
