Thérèse Cyr

At Foyer Notre-Dame Nursing Home, Saint-Leonard, September 7, 2008, Miss Therese Cyr of Saint-Leonard passed away at the age of 76 years. Born at Saint-Leonard in 1931, she was a daughter of the late Onezime and Helene (Michaud) Cyr.

She is survived by one sister, Marie-May Michaud of Foyer Ringuette of Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, two brothers, Lionel (Marielle) of Montreal and Ronald (Jocelyne) of Saint-Leonard, as well as nieces and nephews.

Her funeral was held Wednesday, September 10th at 11 a.m. from the Saint-Leonard Roman Catholic Church, with Father Roland Poitras officiating. The pallbearers were Rejean Cyr, Michel Cyr, Jean-Marie Martin, Harold Akerley, Fidele Ouellette and Gilbert Poitras. Interment was in the Saint-Leonard Cemetery.
